MP3 Remix Player is an odd little program. It's best classified as a sort of toy version of a professional audio editing program although its limited effects are somewhat powerful in the right hands.
When you start MP3 Remix Player, you find yourself looking at two turntables and various controls that allow you apply effects and loops. You can add up to eight effects at a time, giving your music interesting effects. MP3 Remix Player also has a simple set of volume controls that you can use to adjust how each effect sits in the mix. There are a ton of possibilities here.
Unfortunately, nearly every other audio editor in MP3 Remix Player's price range offers a more capable set of effects. Professional audio editors will find MP3 Remix Player extremely limited. While its interface is intuitive and clean, it's a bit too simplistic for professional use.
Still, messing around with sound effects and loops is a ton of fun. We had a great time mixing sound effects into popular songs, and while the demo version of the program doesn't allow users to save songs, we weren't too tied to our creations.
Unfortunately, MP3 Remix Player is not a free application and it's a bit too simplistic to warrant a purchase. If you don't mind the relative simplicity of this program, however, you should manage to have a lot of fun remixing songs on your computer. MP3 Remix Player is a fun diversion, and it might inspire you to look into other, more powerful audio tools.
